"I personally have a very deep sense of being called to do this work and bring thinkingSage to the world. That sense of purpose is a great source of confidence that sustains me."

Steven Miklovic is a digital native and the Technical Director of thinkingSage. With a passion for information technology, communications, and a desire to lead the Internet revolution, Steven is one of the original thinkingSage founders.

Steven's experience combines extensive technical skills with superior industry and operational knowledge. Prior to founding thinkingSage in 2008, Steven worked at Tommy Hilfiger in IT.

Steven was born in New Jersey, where he spent most of his childhood. Upon graduating high school Steven founded his first company with his cousin, a computer installation & repair firm that served high schools and small businesses. By 1999 Steven was hungry to join the great gold rush that was the Internet Boom, and so was hired as Employee #001 in a new media startup. Unfortunately the bubble burst soon after, making his first stock options worthless, and sending Steven looking for work in other, more stable NYC industries. He ended up in fashion, working for Tommy Hilfiger. After many years at Tommy Hilfiger opened his eyes, Steven recognized the void in the NYC market for high quality technical services and digital marketing, founding the thinkingSage company with a group of his peers.

Steven has played a leading role in establishing the exclusivity and profitability of the thinkingSage brand. He achieved this by focusing on thinkingSage's core technology services, investing in communication and the award-winning profile of the thinkingSage brand. He is responsible for the systems infrastructure, from laptop configurations to web development, and for thinkingSage's market intelligence and research expertise.

He writes on technology and urbanity at his aptly-named NYCtek blog.
